Does the adjustment hurt?
The adjustment is a generally painless procedure although when the patient has let a problem persist for months and months, the adjustments can be uncomfortable at first.
However, they are no more uncomfortable than a lot of medical procedures. I would say that most patients understand that the procedure is relativly painless. There are always exceptions to the rule. If you have heard of someone who went to the chiropractor and say that they were hurt, do yourself a favor and (#1) don't go to the same chiropractor and then (#2) form your own opinion about the experience.
